Tufnell Park Playing Fields

Tufnell Park Playing Fields provide Islington's only full size grass football pitch. The pitch can be booked for morning or afternoon matches on Saturday and Sundays during the football season only. There are changing rooms on site.

The park takes its name from the Tufnell family who owned the area from the middle of the 18th century. Since then, the land has been used by the University of London as playing fields and is now owned by Islington Council and provides a grass football pitch, cricket nets, tennis courts, a playground and a public open space.
