Table Tennis

Table tennis, also known as ping pong, has developed from an after dinner amusement to an action packed Olympic sport played across the world. There are now over 2,700 active clubs throughout the UK.

Its popularity is down to the fact it is easy to learn, a very social activity and can be played by any age group at a wide range of pace. It is also low cost, does not need much equipment and can be set up in a relatively small space.

Table tennis is a great way to get fit. Depending on pace of play it can be anything from a gentle way to loosen muscles while at a professional level it is a very strenuous form of exercise. At any level it takes concentration and can improve hand to eye coordination. It also burns up on average 300 calories an hour.

In our facilities you will find 'pay and play' table tennis, casual and block bookings and some have resident leagues and clubs.  Table tennis bats are available for hire.

Aquaterra members have booking privileges and enjoy discount prices.
