Gym
With 30 stations and new equipment from Lifefitness, the gym at South Wansdyke offers the best place to work out in Midsomer Norton. There is full air conditioning and some free weights are available.
Our Instructors
All our gym instructors are higher level members of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS). This means that in addition to government approved qualifications our instructors are undertaking continuous professional development to keep their skills and knowledge up to date. They operate within a strict ethical code of practice. They also all hold first aid and emergency qualifications.

Last tickets are 30 minutes before the closing time. Last off peak ticket is sold at 4.30pm weekdays.
Tummy sessions are held at 8.30am & 6pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8.30am and 1.30pm on Wednesdays, 8.30am, 1.30pm & 6pm on Thursdays and 8.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm and 6pm Fridays.
Passport to Health sessions are Mondays 11– 2pm, Wednesdays 10am – 2pm, Thursdays 8 – 10pm and Saturdays 9 – 12noon.
Our gym etiquette
Prices
A session costs £4.80 for members. Member concessions pay £2.50. Members who are on income support or job seekers allowance pay £1.50 at off peak times. All prices include a free swim when the pool is available. Paying by direct debit or once a year usually offers the best value for regular users. Visit memberships.

We also have staffed gyms at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre and Keynsham Leisure Centre and an unstaffed gym at Culverhay Sports Centre.
