THE SOMERDALE PAVILION
For some months Aquaterra has been involved in discussions about the future of the Somerdale Pavilion, its ownership and the management of the contract. These discussions are now nearing completion and we would like to update you with regards to the progress that has been made.
One of the key outcomes of these discussions is that the St Monica Trust, the Bristol charity that provides retirement villages, and specialist care homes, is in negotiations to purchase the grounds and premises of the Pavilion. As you may be aware, the Trust has redeveloped the buildings adjacent to the Pavilion, in what is now the Chocolate Quarter. Once these negotiations have been finalised, Aquaterra will cease management of the facility contract. In terms of timescale, the process is at an advanced stage and specific dates will be announced once the legal formalities have been completed. Further details on the operation of the premises will be forthcoming and we ask our stakeholders to bear with us while we work through the transition period. Full communication on internal processes will also be made available in due course.
Aquaterra would like to thank all of its members, customers and patrons for their support over the past four years and wish the Pavilion every success in the future.
