Ice Skating
Sobell Leisure Centre has a 20m indoor ice rink with sound and vision. Skate hire is included and refreshments are available. Bring the family along for a fun experience on ice.

Junior Ice Hockey (Term time only)
For 6 - 17 year olds. Anyone welcome to turn up and play. Equipment is provided.

Sledge hockey for people with disabilities
Sessions are for those aged 14 and over and are run on Thursdays, between 7.15pm and 8pm. Come and trial the sessions for free throughout September and October! Please note that a warm sweatshirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers must be worn. All other basic equipment will be provided. Carers may be required for help into/out of sledges.

Learn to Skate Courses
Sobell is home to a very active and welcoming skate club. They run courses in conjunction with the National Ice Skating Association, Learn to Skate programme called Skate UK. There are courses for all ages and abilities. For further information including course dates, times and how to enrol, please visit the Sobell Ice Skating Club.
Nursery on Ice (Term time only)
This session for parents and toddlers is run by the skating club every Thursday 10 - 11am at the Sobell ice rink. For further information please visit the Sobell Ice Skating Club or call Pamela on 07939 414118.

Guardians are free. A guardian is a non-skating adult (16+) who is looking after a child under 8 years old. All other people entering the rink, skating or watching, pay full price during public sessions.
