Sobell closure dates
Islington Council is investing in the future of the Sobell Leisure Centre by carrying out essential repairs and upgrades costing £1.7m. This will lead to closures of facilities and activities through to September 2010. Check the improvement works timetable and centre access before you visit.
Programme
We offer capoeira, street dancing, salsa and belly dancing in our air conditioned studios.
We have developed a special tool we call our ‘exercise class finder’. This enables you to see all of the classes in the centre or only the ones that might be of interest to you. All our dance classes appear on this - click below and choose 'dance and groove'.

Prices
A class costs £6.80 or £5.60 for members. Member concessions pay £4. People over 60 pay £1.60. Paying by direct debit or once a year usually offers the best value for regular users. Visit memberships.
