Safety Information & Guidelines
Please read the following guidelines before you use the climbing walls.
Aquaterra Leisure cannot be held responsible for an individual’s actions and accepts no responsibility for personal injury or damage to property. Common sense, self preservation and care are essential. Please do not take risks beyond your capabilities. You are required to fill in a consent form before using the walls. All climbers are required to bring their own equipment.
Please
- abide by the rules as denoted on the walls
- give way to climbers in a higher position
- stand back from the walls when not participating
- keep equipment not in use away from walls
- ensure crash mats are suitably placed before climbing
- use ropes to climb the competition wall
- wear recognised climbing clothing
- wear a helmet if you are under 18
- wear a harness if climbing above the red line
Please do not
- alter or create holds or features on the walls
- climb up the back of the competition wall
- climb on any area other than the climbing wall
- climb in the corridor before 7pm
- 'solo' climb above 3 metres (above red line)
The management advises you that
- climbers should attend a course before climbing
- beginners must be accompanied by an experienced climber
