Bowls - Short Mat

Sobell closure dates

Islington Council is investing in the future of the Sobell Leisure Centre by carrying out essential repairs and upgrades costing £1.7m. This will lead to closures of facilities and activities through to September 2010. Check the improvement works timetable and centre access before you visit.

Short mat bowls is a social, tactical (and very competitive!) game that is suitable for people of all ages. 

Arsenal in the Community run a short mat bowls sessions every Friday at the Sobell from 10.30am – 12 noon (during school term only).  The sessions are free and everyone is welcome.  Come along for a fun, social and active game of bowls.
