Junior Activities

Islington Football Development Partnership runs an after school and weekend programme of coached football sessions and matchplay. The sessions run outdoor on an artificial pitch and are designed to enable players to develop their skills and enjoy their football in a supervised environment.

Please buy tickets at the Islington Tennis Centre (adjacent to the pitches) prior to the start of the session. All equipment will be provided and if you are over 8 years old you can come on your own. Just make sure that you are wearing suitable sports clothing and trainers. 

Term Time Drop in Programme

Sessions finish on 17th December 2009 and restart on 7th January 2010.

Price: The boys only sessions cost £2.20, £1.70 for members, or £1 for member concessions. The girls only session costs £1 (flat rate).

Goalkeepers Course

Specialised training on the specific skills required of a goalkeeper. The course will cover various aspects including footwork, positioning, handling, shot-stopping and distribution. The ten week course is open to both boys and girls aged 7 - 16 years and runs outdoor on an artificial pitch.

Starts Thursday 21 January till Thursday 25 March 2010.
5 – 6pm. Course Code: GKMR74.

Price: Courses are £36 or £29 for members and £22 for concessionary members.
