Badminton

We have four courts for ‘pay and play’. More competitive players may wish to join one of the badminton clubs. All abilities are welcome to one of our drop in sessions.

Programme

Booking slots are 55 minutes, starting on hour from 7am till 4pm then on the half hour from 5.30pm, except on Sundays where they remain on the hour throughout the day.

Bookings

Courts can be booked 10 days in advance of play by members and 7 days in advance by non members. Visit in person, call reception or e-book. Bookings are taken from 6.30am on weekdays and 8am at weekends. For full information see booking terms and conditions.

Drop in sessions for adults

We run a multi-sport drop in session on Fridays from 10 – 12noon where you can play badminton, squash or table tennis and have a swim. No need to book. Just turn up. Equipment is provided if you do not have your own.

We run a badminton drop in session every Saturday from 5 - 7pm. No need to book. Just turn up. Equipment is provided if you do not have your own.

Prices

A 55 minute court booking for adults costs £7.70 or £6.20 for members.  Children can play all weekend and before 5pm weekdays for £3.50 or £2.80 per court for members. Drop in sessions for multi-sports are £4.50 or £3.50 for members and £2.50 for member concessions. Drop in sessions for badminton are £2 or £1.80 for members.

Racket Hire

Badminton rackets cost £2.10 to hire. A small deposit is required from non members, members can leave their membership card.
