Private coaching for individuals or small groups is available at the Islington Tennis Centre for all ages and standards and is highly recommended for the progress and improvement of your tennis. All our coaches are licensed by the LTA which sets a ‘kitemark’ for British coaches, in terms of ‘child protection’ measures and the development of coaching standards at all levels.
All licensed coaches hold one of the following LTA qualifications:
- Level 1 - Assistant Coach
- Level 2 - Community Coach
- Level 3 - Development Coach
- Level 4 - Club Coach
- Level 5 - Performance Coach

Gary Lewis
Level 2 |
Gary has represented Middlesex as a player and is now a full time tennis coach who is aiming to become a level 3 coach. Gary is also the head Coach at Highbury City tennis Club. Gary is available for lessons for all ages and standards, from beginners to advanced players.

Leon Achille
Level 2 |
Leon won the Dunlop Junior circuit in 1988, was Middlesex County Champion and has represented Middlesex as a player. Leon is available for lessons for all ages and standards, from beginners to advanced players.

Camilla Mansson
Level 4 |
Camilla has played full time tennis, playing all the major tournaments in Sweden as well as the ITF tournaments. Camilla is available for lessons for all ages and standards, from beginners to advanced players.

Sam Pink
Level 4 |
Sam has been coaching for over 8 years and is a fully licensed Level 4 LTA coach. He is available for lessons with adults and children of all ages and standards.
He is the Mini Tennis Co-ordinator for Islington Tennis Centre and specialises in coaching performance/county juniors.

Stella Maslen
LTA Level 4 & Canadian Level 3 |
Stella achieved an international ranking and began coaching 21 years ago. She worked for ten years at a David Lloyd Club and as a training coach of Junior and Senior internationally ranked players. Stella is available for lessons with adults and children of all standards.

Manu Ducrocq
LTA Level 3 |
Manu has been working in the UK for the last five years having previously worked in France and Cyprus.
Manu is available for lessons with both adults and children of all abilities.

Neil Murphy
LTA Level 4 |
Neil was Middlesex County Champion both at Junior + Senior level. He attended the University of West Florida on a tennis scholarship before returning to the UK where he took up the post of Performance Coach at David Lloyd Finchley.
Neil is available for coaching both adult and children of all levels.
