Swimming Lessons

General

Ironmonger Row Baths run swimming lessons year round. Lessons are run mostly in the teaching pool which measures 15m long and is only 1m deep throughout. As children progress, they may begin swimming in the main pool which measures 30.5 metres and has a deep end of 3.6 metres deep.

All of our swimming teachers hold an ASA Level 2 swimming instructor qualification, RLSS Pool Lifeguarding Qualification and attend regular training.

Lesson Times

Adult lessons run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Friday mornings.

All lessons are 25 minutes.

Next course dates

The next 8 week swimming course will commence week beginning Monday 15 March and ends week commencing Monday 3 May 2010.

How to book

For existing junior swimmers - If your children are already involved in swimming lessons at Ironmonger Row Baths, you will be entitled to enrol for the next term of lessons from Monday 22nd February 2010.

For new junior swimmers - If this is your child’s first time taking lessons with us, you will be able to enrol for the next term of lessons from Monday 1st March 2010. Please call reception or drop by the centre from this date.
