Healthy Lifestyle

There are lots of elements involved in a good level of health and fitness. A balanced diet and regular exercise are of course essential. You also want to have the right amount of rest, the ability to relax and the ability to keep stress levels positive. Being healthy is not just about your physical condition, it is also about your mental state – most people want to be both healthy and happy.

Depending on your current health and lifestyle there may be little or lots to do to get you where you want to be. For most of us there are lots of things we could do to improve our health and we probably know what they are. But the problem is that we don’t have enough time or generally lack motivation. And let’s face it, lots of unhealthy things are fun and being lazy is easy.

However, better health will make you live longer, improve your quality of life and even save you money! And lifestyle change is better made in small steps so it shouldn’t be too difficult with the right help.

This section of our website is aimed at helping you help yourself in making the right choices towards better health and fitness.

In the sections below are loads of top tips from Aquattera staff, useful bits of information and links to our favourite websites.

Our TOP top tip!

Anyone embarking on a mission to improve their health and fitness should be aware that it is much, much easier with support. So start off with an activity that will put you in one-to-one contact with an instructor who can provide you with this support. And having made that commitment you are far more likely to turn up!

Forms of exercise that would provide such support would include:

• joining a gym
• going to exercise classes
• swimming lessons (even if you can swim)
• coached sessions (badminton, tennis etc)
• getting a personal trainer

Good luck and let us know how you get on. Contact us.
