Gyms

Going to the gym is one of the most popular ways to exercise, coming a close third in popularity after walking and swimming.

Nothing can beat the gym when it comes to meeting specific fitness goals like losing weight, toning up or improving overall fitness. A well trained and qualified gym instructor can ensure that you maximise every valuable minute of your time to get the best out of your workout.

Gyms are social places and are a good way to meet like minded people that can help motivate each other. And of course, going to the gym is not just an activity in itself - weight training is used to improve performance in every other sport. So whether you are into swimming, squash, skiing or scuba diving, going to the gym will improve your strength and stamina.

Aquaterra’s gyms are modern, attractive and frequented by a wide range of people. The machines are easy to use and designed for people of all shapes, sizes and abilities. Gone are the days when gyms were only frequented by muscle bound men lifting impossibly heavy weights!

Most of Aquaterra’s gyms are fully staffed throughout the hours of opening. All of our instructors are higher level members of the Register of Exercise Professionals. You can check out their qualifications and level at the REPs website below.

Aquaterra members enjoy free entry or discount prices.
