Sessions
Lane swimming
There are sessions dedicated for people wishing to swim lengths
every day except Fridays and Saturdays. These sessions are for
adults (or young people who are serious swimmers).
Why choose swimming to improve
your fitness
Improving your technique
Lane etiquette for swimmers
Casual swimming
Sessions where the pool is available to everyone. Children under
8 years old must be accompanied by a swimming adult (16+) at all
times. The ratio is 1 adult to 2 children aged under 5 years or 1
adult to 3 children aged 5 to 8 years. We strongly recommend all
non-swimmers wear buoyancy aids.
Swimming with babies
Twilight Swim
Adults only. Swim in any direction you like in a relaxed
atmosphere with soothing music to help you unwind.
Aqua Aerobics
Exercise to music in standing depth water. Aqua Aerobics
improves the fitness of your heart and lungs, tones the body and
burns up calories. All classes are designed for all levels of
fitness and non swimmers are welcome.
Aqua Kick
This is a high intensity workout and takes place in the shallow
and deep ends of the pool, with the use of Aquabelts, which are
provided.

We offer a comprehensive range of group swimming lessons for all
ages and abilities. Intensive courses are available during school
holiday time. For information on these services please ask at
reception.
Kids fun time

the pool is exclusively for the use of children and
families. Toys and floats are available.
