Plans for the future
Aquaterra is highly experienced in running leisure centres, and has also developed extensive skills and competencies in outreach work. We also offer leading skills in the management of memberships, IT for leisure services, retention systems, GP referral schemes, football development and the management and marketing of classes in non leisure centre environments. We are keen to use these competencies in developing new business opportunities.
As part of the Everyday Swim project, Aquaterra is working in close partnership with the ASA to develop swimming products that will meet people's fitness goals, allow pool staff to be proactive and engage more with customers and help to reverse the national decline in swimming participation.
Aquaterra will continue to be very active partners in the County Sports Partnership Networks – Proactive in Islington and Get Active in Bath & North East Somerset – to meet the challenges set out in the government papers Game Plan and Choosing Health. We are helping develop national standards for social marketing qualifications.
We are also working with our council partners to further improve the facilities and activities, increase participation and meet the new government standard for Customer Service Excellence.
