Lifeguarding
With two swimming pools and a diverse swimming programme, Cally Pool is an interesting place to study pool lifeguarding. The Cally specialises in intensive courses run over one week.

Our five day intensive courses run from 8.30am – 6pm. Full attendance is essential.

What to bring
Please bring swim wear, plus shorts and a T-shirt (that you will have to swim in). An extra towel is handy to have so you can dry off in between exercises. A pen and paper is required for taking notes.
How to book
Please read the lifeguarding home page for course prerequisites. You can book in person or by telephoning the centre. Payment is required to secure a place. Credit cards are accepted.
Prices
The standard price is £175 or £155 for members, students and 16/17 year olds. This includes all the necessary books and the Royal Life Saving Society registration fee. There is also an exam fee of £20 that is paid direct to the assessor on the day of the assessment.
