Trevor's Success Stories

After a serious leg injury, I was so used to getting new
injuries as soon as I stepped out the door to go for a run. I'd
given up hope of ever regularly running outdoors again so I joined
the gym instead. Nearly 5 years later I was finding my regular
workouts very uninspiring and was really just going through the
motions, avoiding the weights and watching TV instead.
Purple training sessions with Trevor have been a delight, and the
motivation and focus I regained through the sessions has helped me
regain my love of exercise. Through a combination of focused
exercise and stretches I have made vast improvements to my muscle
strength and flexibility. To my delight the PT sessions have
resolved my niggling injuries and have allowed me to start running
outdoors again. I now regularly run 10km outdoors. I feel I owe
this to Trevor's patient training and encouragement.
Trevor has taught me how to train more efficiently by focusing on
different areas of the body to improve my overall performance. I
found the sessions with Trevor re-energised and reinvigorated my
interest in training and his enthusiasm made the sessions very
enjoyable. I achieved more than I ever thought possible.

I've just set up a new veterinary practice in Bath and have been
finding it hard to keep up with my fitness. I've also been wanting
to make sure I was doing the right thing and at the same time
making progress with my workouts.
I was lucky enough to meet Trevor at the gym last year and
really haven't looked back. Trevor has been extremely helpful with
showing me new exercises for my weight lifting workouts as well as
showing me the correct way to do the ones I'm already performing. I
am also able to do far more in a session with Trevor and therefore
have noticed measurable gains in my fitness and physique.
I wholeheartedly recommend Trevor to anyone who wants a push to
perform and achieve more. Not only that, he's also a fantastic guy
and very easy to train with.

My goal was to lose some weight to fit into a size 6 dress for
my best friend's wedding. With Trevor's expertise I was able to
lose 20 pounds and get my fitness back after years of neglect.
Exercising really does work and I'm thrilled with my achievement. I
feel awesome! Exercising certainly pays off! I am so happy that I
persevered with the training programme that Trevor set-up for me.
Trevor really understood the results that I needed to achieve. One
step at a time he transformed me from a slightly overweight and
completely out of shape person into a slender, strong and more
positive woman.
My fitness journey began back in January this year at a time
when new year
resolutions are long forgotten and the nights are short and drab.
I hadn't really been to a gym in years. But in a really short time,
going to the gym became a treat and something to look forward to
rather than a chore. After four months of approximately 3-4 times a
week of training, I had dropped 20 pounds and loads of inches so I
basically went from a size 14 to a size 6. Lots of people started
to comment that I looked thinner. My clothes looked great again and
my mood had changed completely. Not only did my body look better, I
can now run on the treadmill, lift weights and participate in
back-to-back cardio workout classes that are also offered at the
gym. Trevor tells me that I was successful because I was
determined, but I feel that Trevor is really the reason why I
completed my goal. He's a very conscientious and extremely
knowledgeable trainer. Trevor is patient and loads of fun. He is
everything you would expect a great trainer to be and more because
he's now also a good friend.

Victoria Jones
Training with Trevor on Monday mornings was the best decision
that I have made to help me improve my strength and fitness. He
keeps me motivated to lift the heavy weights needed in order to
pass my Police fitness test and medical examinations. Trevor is
very professional and makes the one-to-one sessions intense but
fun. I honestly don't think I could have passed my tests this time
without Trevor's help. I'm continuing with my Purple Training
sessions in order to improve my fitness ready to join the
police.

Since joining the gym in April 2006, I usually train two or
three times per week under the guidance of Trevor who
has helped me achieve my goals of getting fitter and losing
weight.
Trevor suggested in October that I might benefit from
half-hourly Purple Training workouts with him, and also take
advantage of the cardio coach sessions which are included at no
extra cost.
Some six months and twelve sessions later, reinforced by regular
visits to the gym, I have found my fitness improving and my weight
decreasing under the personal 'hands-on' supervision of Trevor who
has maintained my interest and commitment.
