The Gym
With over 100 stations and top of the range equipment from
Lifefitness, the gym at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre simply
offers the best place to work out in Bath. We have 8 large TV
screens where you can tune in to your favourite TV or radio channel
via a personal headset.
Our Instructors
All our gym instructors are higher level members of the Register
of Exercise Professionals (REPS). This means that in addition to
government approved qualifications our instructors are undertaking
continuous professional development to keep their skills and
knowledge up to date. They operate within a strict ethical code of
practice. They also all hold first aid and emergency
qualifications.

Last tickets are 30 minutes before the closing time. Last off
peak ticket is sold at 4.30pm weekdays.
Tummy sessions are held at 8am, 1pm, 5.30pm,
6.30pm and 7.30pm weekdays. At weekends they are at 9am, 12pm
and 3pm.
Passport to Health sessions are Mondays 10.30am
- 1.30pm, Wednesdays 12.30 - 3.30pm, Fridays 8am - 12noon and
Sundays 2 - 4pm.
Bookings
Members can advance book programme reviews, Steps and personal
training. Some equipment is also available to book for up to 30
minute workouts. Book in person or call reception on 01225

Parties
We are a pretty social bunch and have regular parties and events
that members can enjoy.

gym etiquette
Prices
A session costs £6.20 for members. Member concessions pay £4.
Members who are on income support or job seekers allowance pay
£2.50 between 9 -11.30am and 2-4.30pm weekdays. All prices
include a free swim when the pool is available. Paying by direct
debit or once a year usually offers the best value for regular

We also have staffed gyms at Keynsham Leisure Centre and South Wansdyke Sports Centre and an
unstaffed gym at Culverhay Sports
Centre.
