It’s never too late to learn how to swim
We offer lessons for babies from 4 months through to adults of all ages. Whether you are a new learner, improver or returning to swimming after a long break or illness, our professional instructors are here to help.
Whether you have never learnt to swim, want to improve your technique or need advice on lane etiquette; we offer a wide range of classes for adults to help you enjoy your time in the pool.
Join your child in these classes designed to develop and boost their confidence through exploring and enjoying the fun of learning to swim. Suitable for children aged 4 months to 4 years.
These seven stages of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) allow your child to move through the FUNdamental movement skills for swimming – Buoyancy and Balance, Rotation and Orientation, Streamlining, Aquatic Breathing, Travel and Co-ordination, Water Safety, Health and Fitness.
Allows confident and competent young swimmers who have completed stages 1-7 to take part in further aquatic disciplines such as diving, lifesaving, swimming, synchronised swimming or water polo.
We actively encourage the participation of everyone in swimming, and as such will do everything possible to ensure the safe and fun participation of all swimming scheme participants. Please inform reception of any special requirements whether these have been formally diagnosed or not, so that the swimming instructor is able to adapt their lesson to best meet the needs of all swimmers.
