Footwear: In the interest of safety, spiked golf shoes are recommended at both courses, as there are sloping areas which can become slipper, particularly in wet conditions. However, at the discretion of the attendant staff member, any footwear offering a reasonable grip, and not likely to cause damage to the playing surfaces will be allowed.

Equipment: The sharing of clubs is strictly prohibited. At the Bath Approach course, the hire of a putter and an iron are included free of charge. At the Entry Hill Golf Course, all players must carry, or pull on a trolley, a golf bag containing all of the clubs they intend to use during their round. Club hire is available if required. Golf balls, tees, pencils etc. are not provided free of charge but are available to purchase at both courses.

Booking: Booking is advisable at the Entry Hill Course. At Bath Approach Golf Course, it is advisable that groups of 10 or more contact the course in advance to advise their arrival time.
