Swimming
The pool is 25m long x 11.5m wide, 0.9m to 2m deep and with the water kept at 28.5 degrees except Thursday mornings when it is 30 degrees.
There is excellent disabled access with a pool hoist, easy access steps and dedicated disabled changing room and toilet.

Schools
Schools have priority. Occasionally available for casual or lane swimming.
Casual swimming
Available to everyone. Swim in any direction you like, or just splash about! Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a swimming adult (16+) at all times. The ratio is 1 adult to 2 children aged under 5 years or 1 adult to 3 children aged 5 to 8 years. We strongly recommend all non-swimmers wear buoyancy aids. Part of the pool is sometimes used for staff training on Saturdays and Sundays.
Swimming with babies
Aqua Aerobics
Exercise to music in waist deep water. Aqua Aerobics improves the fitness of your heart and lungs, tones the body and burns up calories. All classes are designed for all levels of fitness and non swimmers are welcome. Aqua aerobics timetable.
Aqua Kick
Aqua aerobics that concentrates on toning up the legs.
Swimming lessons
We offer a comprehensive range of group swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. We also provide one-to-one and one-to-two swimming lessons. Intensive courses are available during school holiday time. For information on these services please ask at reception.
Water babies
Supervised session for guardian and children under five years old. The maximum ratio is 1 adult to 2 children. The water is heated to 30 degrees and a swimming teacher is available for advice.
50+ session
Exclusively for people over 50 years of age. The water is heated to 30 degrees.
Frolic session
Children can bring their own inflatable toys.
Inflatable session
Inflatable in the deep end exclusively for the use of children up to the age of 15 years who can swim 25m in a confident manner.
Swimming club
The pool is home to the very active Keynsham Amateur Swimming Club. New members are always welcome. Call 0117 9831590.
Disabled swimming club
The Keynsham Seals Disabled Club have exclusive use of the pool every Sunday from 11.30am - 12.30pm. For more information call 0117 9861438.
Lifesaving club
Keynsham Lifesaving Club meet on Sunday evenings. For more information call 0117 9635242.
Party Hire
The leisure pool is available for exclusive inflatable party hire. Maximum of 50 children. Please contact the centre.
